Canon PowerShot SX130 IS Review

Canon PowerShot SX130 IS Review Tube. Duration : 3.45 Mins.

For the full Canon PowerShot SX130 IS review, visit www.infosyncworld.com There's no shroud of mystery draped over the fact that Canon is one of the leading rulers of the point-and-shoot market. In fact, we'd go so far as to tell you that you really can't get any better than a Canon if you're looking for a sub-0 compact. Some would argue that Panasonic is #1, and rightfully so. Panasonic produces some of the best compacts as well. However, over the years we've spent reviewing digital cameras, it has always been an ongoing consensus that Canon is usually one step ahead of the competition. That's why it pains us to say that the Canon PowerShot SX130 IS is fatally flawed. Not by image quality, not by features, not by construction, interface, or body design. In those categories, the Canon PowerShot SX130 IS shines just like any other prized point-and-shoot we've seen to date. But our photographic adventures were frequently interrupted by battery changes. Far too frequently. In fact, we couldn't go more than a half hour without tossing in fresh AAs. A lithium ion battery might have cured this longevity issue, but it's too little too late. Sadly, the Canon PowerShot SX130 IS exhibited the worst battery life we've seen to date. If you've got an endless supply of AA Lithium photo batteries, then read on.

Canon PowerShot SD980 IS first look

Canon PowerShot SD980 IS first look Video Clips. Duration : 1.97 Mins.

The Canon PowerShot SD980 IS is a bit of a reworking of the SD960 IS. That model's design and features were sort of a letdown. The SD980 turns things around, though, by using a wider lens with longer zoom range, a bigger and now touch-screen LCD, and some improved physical controls. Photo and video quality and performance remain very good for its class, but there's room for improvement, too. The SD980 is worth the extra money above the SD960, especially if you're interested in the touch-based controls. The Canon PowerShot SD980 IS is a bit of a reworking of the SD960 IS. Photo and video quality and performance remain very good for its class, but there's room for improvement, too. The SD980 is worth the extra money above the SD960, especially if you're interested in the touch-based controls. For a first effort, the SD980's touch-panel controls are reasonably well executed and the screen is fairly responsive and can be calibrated to your touch. Much like Panasonic's Lumix FX500, Canon only uses the touch screen for a handful of shooting features, while a majority of its functions and menu navigation are still handled by physical buttons. And actually, if you don't want to use the touch interface, you don't have to at all. The best use for a touch screen is for ...

Nikon Coolpix AW100 review

Nikon Coolpix AW100 review Video Clips. Duration : 17.77 Mins.

This video is a quick run down of the Nikon Coolpix AW100. It's a nice point and shoot camera. The image quality is good and it fills the void between my camera phone and DSLR. However, there are many pocket cameras on the market and this one costing around 0 is not really a bargain. I did like some of its unique features and so far it's starting to win me over. I just wish it had more manual control. Thanks for viewing and I hope you enjoy my review.

Hands on with the Sony Cybershot DSC-TX7

Hands on with the Sony Cybershot DSC-TX7 Tube. Duration : 7.40 Mins.

The Sony DSC-TX7 could possibly be one of the greatest point and shoot ultra slim cameras ever created. It truly is a pinnacle of Sony's commitment to quality in its twenty five years of making Cyber-shot cameras. At 9, it also surprisingly faces stiff competition in the ultra slim category from giants such as Samsung, Canon, Nikon, and others. What Sony brings to the table with the TX7 makes it a real player in comparison to anything else out there. Lets go over some of the basic features before we start our review -- the TX7 has a 3.5″ touch screen, "Exmor R" sensor, iSweep Panorama Mode, 10fps at full 10.2 megapixels, Anti-Motion Blur / Hand-held Twilight, AVCHD Movie mode, Optical SteadyShot, and 4x optical zoom. And while that list may seem exhausting, that's not even everything available on the TX7 -- it's merely the beginning. Read more of our review here - www.sonyinsider.com
